How to choose a boiler
Size
Bigger isn’t better: over-sizing wastes money. Jordan works out the right output for your home at the survey, and the test’s Boiler Match step gives you a first guide.
Type
Combi: hot water on demand, no tank, the most popular. System: has a tank, good for several bathrooms. Regular: for older systems with a tank and a header. Jordan confirms the right one at the survey.
Efficiency
A higher efficiency figure means less gas for the same heat. The example below shows what that can mean.

Which boiler will Jordan recommend?

Prices start at £1,799 fitted. The exact price depends on the boiler, your home and the flue and pipework.
Example: what an old boiler can cost to run
A new A-rated boiler uses less gas for the same heat. Here is an example of the gas bill by boiler efficiency.
